Power BI Desktop Settings for Brick Chart not retained when published to web

Hi,

The following settings for the Brick Chart are not retained when a Power BI Desktop report is published:

Shape/Brick Type: Dot in Desktop version becomes Block when published to the web

Animations: No in Desktop version becomes Yes when published to the web

These can of course be rectified within the published report, though it would be preferable if this intervention were not required.

  • A link or copy of the sample report
  • A sample dataset
  • Screenshot of the issue
  • Environment details where issue was observed (Power BI Desktop version, Browser name and version)

  Hi Uddiptta,

  Many thanks for your reply. My company has recently pushed through the latest Power BI updates and I can confirm that the issue is no longer present.
